Emma Cobabe was born on August 16, 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia. Immediately following her birth, Cobabe moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Currently, Cobabe is a Sophomore at Olympus High School. She is highly skilled academically and takes her education very seriously. Despite long hours in the gym, Cobabe maintains a 3.7 grade point average and honor student status.

Cobabe began recreational gymnastic classes at age six. It became apparent very quickly that Cobabe had the ability, attitude and desire to excel in gymnastics. She began competing for Gymnastics Training Center in 2009 at age eight, level 4. Prior to competing as a level 4 gymnast, Cobabe participated in an eighteen-month TOPS program.

Outside of the gym, Cobabe enjoys music and traveling.

Currently, Cobabe is preparing for the 2017 competition season. Moving forward, she hopes to continue to pursue her passion for gymnastics in college. Cobabe attributes her success to hard work and determination. She believes her best quality is the ability to "be coach-able" and use critique and criticism to effectively fuel her workout sessions.
